A Cryptomus Alternative Built Only for Getting Paid
Cryptomus is a multipurpose crypto platform. Paymento is non-custodial payment infrastructure that does one job: route each customer payment into a wallet you control.

Why a Narrow Tool Can Be the Safer Choice
An all-in-one account is convenient: take payments, convert, trade and pay out without leaving it. The trade-off is that your revenue lives on the same platform as everything else it does.
Paymento deliberately does less, and the money goes to a wallet it has no keys to. So before you compare, map what you actually use.

2% to Start, or 0.5% From Day One
Cryptomus charges new users 2% per transaction. Paymento charges 0.5% from your first payment, with nothing to negotiate. Cryptomus says its rate can be negotiated lower depending on your business and volume, and Paymento also offers custom rates at higher volume, so compare quotes if you process a lot.

Four Jobs, None of Them Holding Your Money
Paymento creates the payment, watches the chain, tells your store the order is paid with a signed HMAC-SHA256 callback, and records refunds you send from your wallet. Your backend can check any payment against the verify endpoint. There are no pooled Paymento wallets in the middle, so the services we don't offer never sit between you and your funds.

Questions About Switching From Cryptomus
Fees
Cryptomus' fee page says it charges new users 2% per transaction, and that the rate can be negotiated down to 0.4% depending on business type, turnover and integration.
At the starting rate, no: 2% against Paymento's 0.5%. A merchant who negotiates Cryptomus down to 0.4% would pay less per payment than Paymento's standard rate, and Paymento also offers custom rates at higher volume.
Your money and your keys
It doesn't. Payments go to your own wallet, or to an embedded wallet store that only your passkey can authorize. There are no pooled Paymento wallets holding merchant funds, which makes securing your own wallet your part of the deal.
Yes. An embedded wallet store can be exported with its keys. A bring-your-own-wallet store never had anything to export: the funds were in your wallet from the start.
Features
Yes, through recurring payment links that bill daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. They are a good fit for memberships and community access. The API and plugins don't support recurring billing yet.
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, Solana, Litecoin, Dogecoin and Bitcoin Cash, with USDT on Ethereum and Tron and USDC on Solana. It is a shorter list than an all-in-one platform's, focused on what customers pay with. See supported assets.
Yes. See the compare page for every gateway we have compared, sourced the same way.
